Course description:
Running away from suffering and grasping strongly at happiness both cause us problems. On this course we will explore Buddha’s teachings on patience, gaining practical insight on how to unlock its power through meditation and so enjoy lasting peace and protection.
About our courses:
​Guided by experienced meditation teachers, this course includes guided meditations, teaching, Q&A and the opportunity for relaxed and informal conversation in a comfortable and supportive environment.

The Teacher for this Course:

Gen Kelsang Khechog

The principal teacher at Jangchub Ling is Gen Kelsang Khechog. Khechog was ordained in 2006 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. After studying for a number of years on the Teacher Training Programme at the internationally renowned Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre near Derby, Khechog was appointed as the Resident Teacher of JLC in September 2009. Known for his considerate and thoughtful nature, Khechog presents Buddha’s teachings with clarity, showing how to connect these beautiful methods with the realities of modern daily life.

​Course structure:

10am - first session / 11:15am - refreshments / 11:45am - second session

Facility fee:

​£12 (£7 unwaged), or £6 (£3.50 unwaged) per session including refreshments. To book: call 01384 569956 or by using the secure online facility.  Part day bookings available.

There is limited car parking at the venue but there is a public car park on Severn Side, 5 minutes walk away or its possible to park on Red Hill Road
