Course description:

Finding harmony within ourself and in our attitude towards others protects us from painful minds such as anger, jealousy, depression and anxiety, brings deep and lasting joy to our life, and encourages those around us to find the same. On this course we will explore Buddha’s teachings on finding harmony through meditation, as well as how to apply this advice to daily life in a practical, realistic way. Suitable for everyone.

Course structure:
10am - first session / 11.15am - break / 11.45am second session / 1pm - lunch / 2pm - third session / 3.15pm finish

The Teacher For This Course: 

Gen Kelsang Khechog

The principal teacher at Jangchub Ling is Gen Kelsang Khechog. Khechog was ordained in 2006 by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. After studying for a number of years on the Teacher Training Programme at the internationally renowned Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre near Derby, Khechog was appointed as the Resident Teacher of JLC in September 2009. Known for his considerate and thoughtful nature, Khechog presents Buddha’s teachings with clarity, showing how to connect these beautiful methods with the realities of modern daily life.

Facility fee:

​£18 (£10.50 unwaged) for the whole course, or £6 (£3.50 unwaged) per session, 16s and under free - see payments menu below for part booking options and fees.

Lunch:

We serve a complimentary light lunch after the second session.

- Note re lunch: If booking for the morning only, please choose, 'morning only (2 sessions - with lunch)' if you would like to stay for lunch, or, 'morning only (2 sessions - no lunch)' if you do not intend to stay for lunch. There are 'unwaged' options for this also.

Booking for 16s and under:

If you wish to book a free place for someone who is 16 or under then please contact us so we can add them to the booking list.

Booking for monthly subscribers:

If you have a monthly subscription which includes weekend courses then you just need to let us know you're attending by emailing us (click here to send us an email). When you email please state whether you are staying for lunch. Please be aware that courses do get fully booked, so its advisable to book early to avoid disappointment!
