About these classes:
In these classes we have the opportunity to look at certain topics and practices in more depth. Currently we are studying The New Meditation Handbook, each week exploring a new meditation and learning how to put it into practice in our daily life. There are two classes to choose from - one in the afternoon at 1pm and one in the evening at 7.30pm.
Are these classes suitable for beginners?
Yes. These classes differ from our others in that they start with, 'Prayers for Meditation' (about 15 minutes) and have one meditation rather than two, but are the same in that they are designed so you can drop-in at any time, regardless of your experience, and learn some practical methods to make your mind more peaceful and positive.

1:00pm - 2:30pm with Kadampa Teacher Roland Jones
7:30pm - 9:00pm with Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Khechog
Some simple, optional prayers (some people sit and meditate during these), a teaching based around a section of the book and then a guided meditation. Refreshments, discussion & Q&A in the cafe afterwards if you have time.
£6 per class / £3.50 concessions, including refreshments.
No need to book, just turn up to any class.
