Half Day Course in Stratford - Saturday, 22nd June - 'Overcoming Anxiety with Meditation'

Meditate in Stratford
'Meditate in Stratford' is a weekly drop in class run by Jangchub Ling Buddhist Centre. Suitable for complete beginners and people of all backgrounds, the class provides guidance and support in how to develop a sustainable meditation practice. In particular we show how meditation and daily life can come together to nurture a rich, peaceful and fulfilled life.

Thursday evenings, 7:30pm - 9:00pm with Kadampa teacher Harnack Sahota

Venue: Friends Meeting House, 37 Maidenhead Road, CV37 6XT

​​​​Dates: Classes run throughout the year, usually with breaks for the school holidays. See 'upcoming classes' below for current dates.

Facility fee: £6 per class / £3.50 unwaged (retired, unemployed etc.) including refreshments.

Booking: No need to book, attend individual classes.

Thursday, 19th September - ‘Creating Inner Equality’
Just as we wish to be free from suffering and experience only happiness, so do all other beings. In this respect, we are no different from any other being; we are all equal. In this class we will learn a meditation to take this truth to heart and so create a deeply positive transformation in our mind

Thursday, 26th September - ‘How to Reduce Negativity’
We all know when we’re being negative, but that doesn’t mean we know what our negativity is. In this class we will use Buddha’s teachings to get very clear on the nature of our negativity and so empower ourselves to finally reduce its strength.
